The Dancers Studio London – Terms, Conditions & Disclaimer

1. Participation & Safety
Dance is a physical activity and carries risks, including strains, sprains, falls, and collisions. Participants, and for those under 18, their parents/guardians, acknowledge and accept these risks. Please assess your child’s or your own fitness and health before attending.
2. Booking
All classes and workshops must be booked via our website using the Acuity Scheduling platform and Stripe for secure payments. Advance booking is required.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel your booking more than 7 days before the event, you can receive a 50% refund after a 10% administration fee is applied. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are not eligible for a refund.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-refundable. If a booking paid with a voucher is cancelled up to 7 days before the session, 50% of the voucher’s value can be reissued as a credit note for future bookings, valid for 6 months from the date of cancellation. For bookings paid partly with a voucher and partly by card, the voucher follows this credit note policy, and the card portion is refunded according to the standard policy.
Day-of Cancellations Due to Illness
If illness prevents attendance on the day of the session, a 30% refund of the total paid (minus the administration fee) can be issued. Please notify us as soon as possible so we can assist.
4. Changes to Courses
We may alter or cancel courses, workshops, or classes. Participants will be notified where possible.
5. Conduct & Respect
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and safely. Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the session.
6. Communication & Safeguarding
Parents/guardians are welcome to contact us with questions or concerns. All staff undergo background checks and safeguarding training in line with UK legal requirements.
7. Data & Privacy
Personal and medical information is handled in line with UK GDPR.
8. Eligibility
Participants must meet age and skill requirements. Students under 18 require parental/guardian consent. Failure to meet criteria may result in exclusion.
9. Medical Disclosure & Emergencies
Please disclose any medical conditions or injuries. Instructors will respond promptly to any emergencies and contact parents/guardians for under-18s.
10. Payment & Liability
All fees are the responsibility of participants. The studio is not responsible for personal property loss or damage. Participants are liable for damage or injury caused by negligence or misconduct.
11. Photography & Media
Parental consent is required for participants under 18. Media is used in compliance with data protection laws.
12. Supervision & Physical Guidance
Adequate adult supervision is provided. Hands-on guidance may be offered for learning and safety. Participation in physical contact is optional, and alternatives are available. Parents/guardians must consent for under-18s.
13. Governing Law
These Terms, Conditions & Disclaimer are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
