  • "I've been attending wonderful workshops organised by Dancers' Studio since the very first one and very happy to see that now each and every one is sold out. Damien's teaching is naturally graceful and elegant and always inspirational to follow. Everyone in the studio is equally enthusiastic and full of positive energy. The workshops provide a fantastic opportunity to learn a professional variation at legendary venues (including incredible Royal Opera House!) with live piano accompaniment and occasional bonus of being encouraged by one of Royal Ballet stars! Can't recommend more!"

  • “Thank you, Damien, for another fantastic Repertoire workshop. The experience was absolutely ace! Thank you for such a wonderful time! So far, I have attended 3 out of 4 *The Dancers Studio London* Repertoire workshops. I always leave feeling really inspired to do more. You always make sure that every dancer understands the steps and are making sure everyone is happy. I love how you are always happy to help and that you encourage us to ask if we don't understand something. At each Repertoire workshop you have given me some corrections. I feel very fortunate when given a correction, this is because every correction I receive from you (actually every correction a dancer receives from a teacher) is a true honour, it shows how much you (the dance teacher) cares about your student(s) & their understanding. The pace of the classes are just right for me. You make people feel safe and welcome. So, a very big thumb up! Thank you very much for all the time and effort you put into the workshops. Your passion and dedication to the art of dance really shows. You make every dance move an expression of joy! Damien, you always put your heart & soul into it. Thank you for helping me (us) discover the joy and beauty of Repertoire..”

  • “What fantastic events! I’ve always wondered what it would feel like to dance in a professional ballet company. The Dancers Studio has made it possible to get a glimpse of this exclusive world by enabling dancers of varying abilities to come together and learn the steps of some very iconic ballets, all within the amazing studios at the Royal Opera House. The event starts with a warm up class which is accessible to all abilities before you are taught the steps to the repertoire. The teaching is clear and concise, with lots of helpful details on how to perform the work. I definitely feel supported from the moment I walk through the door to the end of the event where you find yourself dancing in a wonderful ballet and wondering just how it all came together. It is clear that lots of time and effort has gone into making these events a truly memorable experience, for which I am very grateful. Thoroughly recommended.”

  • “ The workshop was inspiring. The venue was …. A dream come true for me … to be back stage at the ROH. The class beforehand was both instructive and a helpful warm up. The repertoire was beautifully chosen and what I really loved was seeing and connecting with friends and former “classmates” from my RAD adult ballet classes. It was such a warm and friendly gathering … where we all shared our passion for classical ballet. Thank you for making it all happen. “

  • “Just to be dancing in such an iconic building in the Fonteyn Studio was quite surreal and something I never thought I would have the opportunity to do. But the way you conducted the workshop and made a very mixed ability/age group of dancers feel like a ballet company was inspiring. Everything was carefully planned so it was doable by all of us and yet it never felt dumbed down. You treated us with huge respect as though we were your ballet company and that created a response from everyone to reach their potential and beyond. I was very nervous at this my first workshop with you. You dispelled that fear as soon as we started class. I can’t wait to come to another of your workshops.”

  • “Thankyou so much for such a wonderful ballet experience. It was so lovely to dance to such beautiful piano music and learn your choreography in the most atmospheric space.”
